Well, you learn something new every day. I didn't know that the acronym formerly-known as SOAP, aka Simple Object Access Protocol, is no longer an acronym and is just a protocol and means nothing.
Note:
In previous versions of this specification the SOAP name was an acronym. This is no longer the case.
